π Dual Wield Vs Two Handed Elden Ring
Some weapon skills when used in the left hand take priority over the skill on the right hand; like all parries, shield bash and other variations. I was wondering if there are weapons that can use quickstep while offhanded instead of performing the skill on your right hand. I know I can two hand the weapon on my left to use the skill, but that
2 handing will let you exceed the 99 strength str cap. It will not show the number in the stats tab but you will effectively have ~148 Str. It lets you use 1.5x your strength to wield a weapon and scales the damage as though you had 1.5x the strength. It also changes the moveset.
Dual wield also has Deadly Cloak which is a good damage/defensive skill. Two-handed is used for the skills: Carve and Stampede. Carve is notable for it's stack duration and shield capability. Main Hand - dagger, nirnhoned, fire enchantment (nirnhoned makes your abilities scale higher in damage) Off Hand - dagger, charged, poison enchantment
Literally any 2 weapons that are the same archetypes can dual wield L1 like any 2 daggers or any 2 collosal swords, any 2 spears. There's at least one exception. If you power stance caestus (with any other fist weapon), you get 2h light attack combo instead of block, weapon skill
Lev22_. β’ 2 yr. ago. Yeah i tried using Twinblades and it's better to use two hand, the point of twinblades is consecutive combos and unfortunately dual wielding twinblades doesn't allows you to combo like using two hand. Each to their own, but i prefer two hand since the combo is really cool. Grey_Warden97.
