EU4 is a good game but to get the full experience you need to buy hundreds of dollars worth of dlcs. To enjoy CK3 on the other hand you don't need any dlcs because, well, there aren't any major dlcs yet. CK3 also has better UI and graphics if that's something that matters to you. It's worth it. The problem is, if you ever play a multiplayer game and get to use someone elses DLC, you will be ruined. Even if you learn what those DLC features are, it will ruin the game for you.
