Guild Wars 2 is the fourth major installment of the Guild Wars series, a title that, much to everyone's surprise, is getting bigger and bigger. Especially after the release of its latest expansion, End of Dragons, which came out with new fascinating multiplayer features. Although a fully realized game by now, Guild Wars 2 is […]
jinatsuko • 9 yr. ago. RAM is largely not the limiting factor, though. Typically in those same scenarios (low system specs in general), the GPU/CPUs on those systems are going to the true bottleneck. I played GW2 for quite some time with only 4gb of ram (on a win7 build with a core2quad) and it was certainly playable. Juniterio • 9 yr. ago.
It will resume where you left off. The displayed percentage will reset, because it's based off the remaining amount. For example, say it's 10 GB and you download 1 GB. That would show 10% completed. If you close it and booted it up again, it would show 0% - but that's 0% of the remaining 9GB to be downloaded.

In Siege Mode, players engage in guild wars in Genoa castle. I will be on a mobile hotspot this weekend, and my hotspot has limited data. I can only use up to 4GB on that hotspot. Does anyone know on average how much data GW2 consumes per minute? Standing around the MF in LA takes 5kB to 10kB per second. Standing around in a remote location takes around 1kB per second.
Makes new local.dat that stores account info. Then you can start game, kill mutex, launch 2nd game with runas command, repeat as many times as you want. Edit: just follow top comment (Xanadias) and his batch, does all that, just remove last line (and dont write user/psw) Then launch 2nd account with run as command.
It takes time and skill to grow your character, and a great part of this is how Guild Wars 2 has removed the repetitive 'grind' missions that litter so many similar games. Missions in Guild Wars 2 make sense for the overall story, so you won't have to go and hunt 100 boars in the search for experience points.
Pretty much, yes. In my installation gw2.dat (the main data file) is 63 GB, and everything else (launcher and few dlls) is pretty much inconsequential. This is without considering any potential addons though.
L0Z 11 years ago #8. yes. the way it works is the percentage restarts from 0 but less remaining files are needed to be downloaded so the percentage will climb at a faster rate. the denominator being how many remaining files there are. Boards. Guild Wars 2. can i stop downloading and resume later? Topic Archived.
